Recently, Wobble Warriors has been getting much more complex with new additions like our reworked combat mechanics, new enemy AI, an entirely new dungeon layout, and the freshly implemented Goblin King boss fight, and our play testers have been providing us with excellent feedback, and we’ve been working hard at trying to address their comments. Lately, there’s been an uptick in the amount of comments regarding game difficulty. While Wobble Warriors has gotten much more complicated, we believe that the difficulty is currently at or near a good place. We will continue to adjust the user experience in the coming days, but in the meantime, here are some tips and tricks to that can help players hone their gob-stomping prowess.
Ground Pound
This move might not deal any damage, but it does a couple amazing things to make up for it. While in midair, this move will knock away everything around the user, making it an especially effective “get-off-me” tool when surrounded. In addition, when using this move near a downed ally, they’ll be instantly revived. Be careful in cramped spaces: this move will hit players and enemies alike.
Charge Attack
Holding the attack button before releasing will unleash the powerful charge attack. It hits a large area in front of the user, dealing massive damage and knocking back everything caught in its wake. While it is a powerful tool, careless players should be wary of hitting their allies.
Dash
Sometimes, the best play is to reposition. Dashing will let players do just that. Upon activation, the player will instantly gain a burst of speed, zooming forward. This ability is on a cooldown, however, so spamming this ability isn’t necessarily the best plan of action.
Jump
By popular demand, Wobble Warriors players now have the ability to leap into the air. Certain abilities can only be used in midair, and every ability can be used in the air. Additionally, players can jump over certain traps to lead enemies directly into them.
All of these new abilities might seem fun to spam but be careful: Friendly fire is a real threat to enemies and players alike. If not careful, players can end up knocking down their allies or getting knocked down themselves.
